Black Hawk

I discovered James Egbert last night after a friend recommended me one of his tracks 'Black Hawk'. This guy is definitely a natural-born electro/dubstep producer.  I've lost count how many times the first drop has knocked me off my chair. I highly recommend getting his epic Blackhawk EP from Beatport here.

Head-bang worthy.

I'm only now recovering after a heavy week of non-stop drinking. I hope you all had a crackin' Christmas! Here are three ultimate bangers from Hot Pink Delorean, Electrixx/Axwell and Geometry! All head-bang worthy.

Merry Christmas!

Just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas! Here's another cheeky Christmas gift for your ears to enjoy. Laidback Luke has remixed David Guetta's track 'Turn Me On' featuring Nicki Minaj, speeding up the track and adding his signature dutchstep/house feel to it. This remix might get your granny dancing on the table with the turkey this Christmas.

Raven (You Killing Me Remix)

Everybody remembers that saucy Proxy track called 'Raven' right? You Killing Me have only gone and remixed it as a Christmas present, making it sound extra saucy. Proper filthy tune. Cheers to Middle Finger Music for the download link.

Wistful Idiot

This is fairly old, but probably one of F.O.O.L's best remixes. Expect to hear catchy arpeggios, hard synths and string instruments. This stuff is perfect pump up music for whatever epic or sketchy, dangerous and or illegal stunt you are about to do.

P.s I'll be uploading two epic bangers as Christmas pressies from You Killing Me and Electrixx this weekend.

Thursday, 22 December 2011

You will need a seatbelt for this remix.

As soon as I saw this, I knew it was going to be tip top. To celebrate PrototypeRaptor's success this year, he's made a bootleg of the classic Pendulum anthem "Fasten Your Seatbelts" for us. I've been following this guy for a while and his sound is evolving really nicely.

Batidown (krftkds GD Remix)

I haven't posted anything from Krftkds in a good while! They just uploaded this banger, which somehow never got released.

Crispy time.

I haven't really been able to find much since Monday, so here's two particular songs I've been hammering this week. My mate Rich recommended me the Electrixx track at a house party a few weeks ago, seriously couldn't stop nodding my head. Real catchy.

Aerodynamic (DSKOTEK Remix)

Dskotek decided to remix one of their favourite Daft Punk tracks 'Aerodynamic' and this is what they came up with. This filthy stomper would easily slay dancefloors. You won't hear a heavier Daft Punk remix than this.

Friday, 16 December 2011

Spawn Again (Wobbler Remix)

Just got my hands on the new remix from The Wobbler featured on BioBlitz's EP 'Spawn Again'. Expect to hear an epic build up with huge bass sounds, killin' that complextro feel. The Vodge Diper remix is worth checking out also - Get the EP on Beatport here.

Thursday, 15 December 2011

Glissen

"Glissen" is a bangin' electro gem straight out of Orange County, California. The original is hard as diamonds and the remixes are stupidly filthy. Stepsonics steps into the ring and smashes his version out with his epic intro and huge breakdowns. This is hard electro at it's finest.

Wednesday, 14 December 2011

Turn It Down (Le Castle Vania Remix)

I'm sure you've all heard the preview, there has been a lot of hype for this banger! Dylan Eiland a.k.a. Le Castle Vania recently remixed Kaskade's 'Turn It Down', which is probably one of the biggest electro remixes of this year. This uplifting, melodically rich bass heavy tune would be perfect for any party.

The S & Dave Scorp remixes.

The freebies seem to be flying in today! A new unofficial remix from The 'S' that was kept as a secret precisely for the grand opening of our their website. Check out their site here, it's pretty rad. Also, not forgetting the exclusive remix of Hypomaniacs from Dave Scorp! It's a belter and a half.

100% No Modern Talking EP

Well here it is, the much anticipated '100% No Modern Talking' EP from Knife Party. I’m sure you’ve all heard rips of these tracks before, but now experience them in high quality! Download the whole EP here if you can't be buggered to download them individually.

Orchestra (Original mix)

Here's a new track from the talented French duo, Whoppers. I've got huge respect for these guys - Always consistently producing epic tracks and sharing them for free. This is definitely one of their best tracks to date! Press play below and let your ears be blown.

Saturday, 10 December 2011

Levels (Skrillex Remix)

I promise this will be the last 'Levels' remix you'll see on here, I mean come on, it's Skrillex right?! The Grammy nominated artist throws his signature drops and heavy bass all throughout this amazing track. This is a must have for everyone so make sure you turn up the bass.

Wednesday, 7 December 2011

These are winners.

I found quite a few decent tracks today so I thought I may as blog them all in one post. Zeds Dead's new track 'Ruckus The Jam' is a stomper that features dirty basslines and pounding rhythms. Once again Zeds Dead lets everyone know why he is one of the kings of progressive electro. Also, check out the other remixes - The second drop in the Valerna remix does not muck about.

Kick Out The Epic Motherfucker

Dada Life's newest track 'Kick Out the Epic Motherfucker' is another in-your-face electro banger that is sure to stir up the dance floor. When I saw this title, I immediately knew who was responsible. You can always count on the Dada to bring the noise.

BONUS: Here's a treat from DSKOTEK. A new Remix/Bootleg whatever you wanna call it, of Afrojack's newest hit 'Lionheart', making it sound thrashier and heavier.

Sword from Pitfalls And Corridors EP

Just got to hear South Central's new EP 'Pitfalls And Corridors' which is due to be released on 5th Dec. It's a real interesting mix between real hard four to the four electro and fast paced dubstep, constantly keeping the energy levels high. My favourite track has to be 'Sword'. It's actually stupidly heavy.

Bring the walls down.

This week has been weak. Luckily I was able to find this epic remix from The Bloody Beetroots. Returning the favor Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo remixed Congorock's brand new track 'Ivory'. In true Beetroots fashion, the remix is filled with dark creepy piano breaks, a scream vocal, and just the right amount of energy to absolutely bring down the walls.

P.s Cheers to the people who have 'Liked' us on Facebook. 1 more fan to get to 100!

Underneath The Sycamore

This is a great remix from Dillon Francis. This was actually released on Death Cab For Cutie's 'Keys and Codes Remix' EP a few days ago. Dillon Francis keeps pretty much only the piano scales from the source material and fills the void with deliciously distorted Gibbard vocals, house beats, casio-esque infusions and some wobble bass.

Dark Side

F.O.O.L have given us another monstrous track for free. They've recently been splashing out a few free tracks, but this one is ridiculous! After hearing this, I definitely know the power of the Dark Side.

Massive! Bassive!

Coming off of their widely acclaimed 'Jack It EP' the dancefloor smashing duo from Rio De Janiero, Felguk, is back at it again with their new Electro single, 'Bassive'. Sticking to their take-no-prisoners big-room style, Felguk's 'Bassive' incorporates a wonky melodic breakdown before tearing the roof off with a signature naughty, crunchy synth that Felguk has become so well known for.

We Are Back

The Boomzers released a new EP a few days ago called 'We Are Back', which contains 2 originals and remixes from The S and StereoHeroes. The StereoHeroes gave this one a damn right funky make over. My gran would easily get her groove back after hearing this.

CAZZETTE Angry Swedish Hunter remix

Cazzette have provided us with a very sick remix of Swedish House Mafia's 'Save The World'. I know there are loads of remixes of this track, but this one definitely has the potential to kick up a fuss on the dancefloor.

Levels (FTampa Remix)

This is an absolute must have. It's a unofficial remix but a sick one at that. I'll be honest, when I first noticed this track, I was thinking "oh no! not another Levels remix" but continued listening anyway cause the original track is pretty epic. It's very hard to remix a masterpiece without wrecking it but FTampa really did good.

Aslan approves.

My ears are failing to recover after hearing this. Here is the newest release from Afrojack off his own record label, Wall Recordings. This is electro house at its finest, showcasing some crazy production and HEAVY drops. Perfect for big raves.

Oxygen. Influenza. The Music.

It's been a hectic week, hence the lack of posts. Hopefully this post will make up for my absence. The Jacob Planet remix is pure filth! You may need some wetwipes beside you for that one.

Go (PeaceTreaty Remix)

PeaceTreaty are definitely one of the best big room house producers in the EDM scene today. They are producing some of the most innovative music I’ve heard in a while, pushing the limits of the genre with devastating synths and monumental drops. Lucky for us, Mad Decent is giving away this remix for free on their Soundcloud.

Blow out!

I've been anticipating this for so long! Felguk has just released a remastered version of its massive hit 'Blow Out', updated with four cracking new remixes. Lazy Rich, Electrixx, and Heartman Chess all deliver major big-room electro cuts, while Barcelona duo David Amo and Julio Navas present a more progressive interpretation of the original tune. My favourite remix out of the lot has to be from Electrixx. Get the whole EP here.

The Final Countdown

I fav'd a few tracks on Soundcloud the other day, all of which were released today so expect some big tunes this week. Andy's iLL finally gave away his Final Countdown dubfix last night! This has to be his best dubfix to date. Mindblowing shit.

Till The End Of Time

Electrixx have released a new remix of 'Till the End Of Time' by FTampa and Xangaii. It's a pretty sick remix if you ask me. It has that nitty gritty electro sound we all love. So turn the volume up to full blast on this one.

Wednesday, 2 November 2011

Let this banger bang your ears.

Sorry for the lack of posts, I honestly haven't been able to find anything this past week. I did find this Alex Kidd remix though which totally shocked me. Wait, scrap that, I'm not shocked at all...this guy always produces such amazing remixes. The second drop is out of this world.

Mind of the Teddybear

Happy Halloween everyone! To celebrate this awesome day, I present to you a brutal remix from Stepsonics. This is by far his best remix. The drop is intense!

Maximal Crazy

The duo from Holland, known to us as Bassjackers are lined up for a second release on Tiesto's very own Musical Freedom record label. To take "Maximal Crazy" and transform it into something better than it already is couldn't of been an easy venture. But you can leave it up to Bassjackers to blow the roof off of any track with their signature bass-heavy, big room sound.

Happy Violence (Caveat Remix)

As a teaser to see what's to come next Monday, Dada Life put one of their “Happy Violence” remixes up for grabs. Don't know much about Caveat, but I do know he's turned this Dada Life track into something pretty spectacular. After looking into who this electro youngblood was, he describes himself as... “A 16 year old with too much time on his hands.” Looks like the extra time paid off — this song is sick!

Megaloud

Ollie from Far Too Loud is on fire at the moment! He's back with another huge release which will blow your minds, guaranteed. Prepare yourself for the second drop, it's mega awesome. I can't wait to hear this when he plays at our hometown.

Fazzer (Air Wankers Remix)

This week is mental for new releases, I just can't keep up. Here's a new remix from Air Wankers for you to enjoy. I absolutely love the intro, due to the fact I am a sucker for hearing strings in electro songs.

Trash House Music (Darth & Vader Remix)

Darth & Vadar kindly gave away a link to download this gem for free today.  In true D&V style, there are huge drops and thumping basslines to be heard in this certified electro banger, so sit back and enjoy.

Halo Ember

The second sampler from Stylus Rex's forthcoming 'Amplify' is out now with a blistering remix from Access Denied. Using the synth textures from the original and combining them with some seriously wobbley bass, Access Denied shows why he's one of the hottest properties in the breaks scene at the moment.

Wolfgang Gartner - Yin
Laidback Luke - Break the House Down
Porter Robinson - Say My Name
Starkillers - Bitch Ass Trick
Spencer & Hill - House Beat

Not Exactly (Alex Mind Re-fix)

Alex Mind is seriously impressing me these days. Here's a new re-fix he's done of Deadmau5's "Not Exactly", making it sound extra bassy. The last 2 mins of the track is ferocious to say the least.

Tuesday, 18 October 2011

Carnation!

ill Saint M has just released a badboy EP entitled "Carnation". All in all these three tracks will definitely make their impact felt directly after being released by Freakz Me Out. To spice up the already scrumptious main course of the EP, three barbecue roasted tracks have been added to the party hard happy meal. You can get the whole EP here.

Monday, 17 October 2011

Flatline

Really diggin' this new track from Haydn Hoffman. Especially the choppy synth sequence beginning at 3:00. Flatline is a great example of the way Haydn takes influences from dubstep and electro and seamlessly melds them into something completely new, thus helping him to stand out in the ever crowded EDM scene.

Shaken, not stirred.

Here's a very nice James Bond themed remix from WhiteNoise! Amazingly produced work as usual, WhiteNoise never disappoint. He should totally produce a goldeneye mix after making this gem.

---> DOWNLOAD: WhiteNoise - Thunderball (Original Mix)

Wobble Mania.

A new remix from Stepsonics that features hell of a lot more of his signature crazy synths and wobbles than usual! The only way I can sum this song up: Sick intro, sick middle, sick end. Sick sick sickertysick.

Tourniquet & Sponge Bob.

Knife Party have recently stated that their upcoming EP “100% No Modern Talking” will consist of 4 tracks, and that they plan on making it available for FREE. I'll be sure to keep you updated on here as soon as I know more. In the meantime, here's Knife Party's 'Tourniquet', which we all heard when they played their first live set at Space, Ibiza. This is a certified banger!

JUST FOR LAUGHS: Sponge Bob Square Pants in an electro house song? Epic.

Koyote (Alex Mind remix)

There's nothing better than waking up to hearing a new Alex Mind remix. I can imagine alot of people bouncing high to this one, so if you're thinking about dropping this banger at a club, make sure there's height space of at least 5 metres.

Tuesday, 11 October 2011

We are the party

This week is such a good week for new releases that will surely give you some epic goosebumps. Here's a Dskotek remix that's been reworked, now featuring filthier and heavier bass sounds!

Catch Me (You Killing Me Remix)

My day just turned so sweet. You Killing Me have given away their remix of Mustard Pimps 'Catch Me' for free. Personally, I believe it's the best remix on the EP. I love the frequent use of piano in their work, it's so catchy. I'm all over the place when the drop kicks in properly at 1:50 mins.
